Newcross Roleplay (NRP) and its associated theme, “Isle of Newcross,” were established in late November 2024 with the aim of creating a structured, whitelisted roleplay community. NRP is a fictional, emergency services-based roleplay community set within the Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) PC/FiveM platform
By adopting a fictional setting to the community, we provide our members with a unique and creative environment that promotes both immersion and flexibility. This approach was deliberately chosen by the Community Management Team to ensure long-term sustainability and to enable greater customisation of content and operations.
While our policies, procedures, and guidelines closely mirror those of real-life emergency services across England and Wales, our fictional framework allows us to adapt and refine these elements to better suit the needs of our community—all while maintaining a high level of realism and authenticity.
The Local Policing Team (LPT) is focused on delivering response to emergencies, incidents and on going crime across the LPA. LPT operates a hybrid role in respect of providing visible and accessible policing to the community and providing a proactive policing presence. LPT will respond, deal and investigate volume crime.
The Operational Support Unit (OSU) plays a vital role in supporting broader policing objectives across the Constabulary. OSU officers are highly trained in a wide range of specialist policing capabilities, including Public Order and Public Safety (POPS), drone operations, the Dog Section, marine policing and dive search, advanced method-of-entry (MOE), and working at height, amongst others remits. The OSU delivers proactive policing through both uniformed and plain-clothed patrols, contributing to crime prevention & intelligence gathering As a tasking-based unit, OSU is also available to provide targeted support to other divisions, responding flexibly to emerging priorities and operational demands.
The Roads Policing Unit are responsible for maintaining road safety, enforcing laws on Newcross’s road network and responding, dealing and investigating incidents that happen on the road networks, including the Strategic Road Network. RPU are also responsible for providing policing response to serious injury / Fatal RTC’s.
CT/Firearms Operations core focus is to provide response to serious incidents involving firearms, armed suspects, or other significant threats to public safety. They are the only unit within Newcross Constabulary that is armed and are equipped with tactical equipment and advanced training to deal with high-risk situations.
The Newcross Ambulance Service provides high-quality pre-hospital emergency care across the Isle of Newcross. Operating as part of the wider emergency services network, NAS responds to 999 calls, urgent medical incidents, and major emergencies. Staffed by trained paramedics and emergency medical technicians, the service is committed to delivering compassionate, timely, and effective medical support—ensuring the safety and well-being of the community at all times.
The Newcross Fire & Rescue Service is dedicated to protecting life, property, and the environment across the Isle of Newcross. Operating as a key emergency response unit, NFRS handles a wide range of incidents including fires, road traffic collisions, technical rescues, and hazardous material situations. With a strong focus on prevention, preparedness, and rapid response, the service is staffed by highly trained firefighters committed to safeguarding the community through professionalism, resilience, and teamwork.
Civilian Operations form the backbone of immersive roleplay across the community. Members of the divisions (whether retained or full-time) create scenarios that bring depth and realism to the patrols. Civilian Operations enables dynamic storytelling and meaningful interaction with emergency services played by other divisions. Designed to encourage creativity and open-ended roleplay, Civilian Operations play a vital role in shaping the evolving world of Isle of Newcross.
The Operations & Communication Centre serves as the central hub for all emergency service coordination to patrols. Staffed by Dispatchers, Supervisor and Managers, the OCC is responsible for dispatching non-emergency and emergency calls, dispatching appropriate units, and maintaining real-time oversight of on-going incidents. OCC ensures efficient resource deployment, prioritise incidents and continuous support to units during the patrols.
